The History
Our Relais is deeply rooted in the history and arised from a meticulous renovation of an ancient stone farmhouse known as “Cascina Bagnolo”.
During its transformation, special attention was paid to preserving the details of the different periods in which it developed, changing it in a luxurious hotel in the heart of the Langhe.
The property
The core of the structure is represented by the central body, built over 200 years ago. This part of the building is entirely made of Langa stone, with wooden architraves that tell stories of a rich and fascinating past. The eastern part, originally aimed at cellar and wood storage, was built with bricks and stone, combining history and functionality. The porch with bricks column and wooden attic finalise the building.
"Montemarino"
The name "Montemarino" is related to the hamlet just above the Hotel and represents the deep bond with the surrounding area, while the tree logo refers to the centuries-old chestnut that dominates our patio, symbol of the natural beauty of the place.
